My son is still running windows 10 and today as he was installing a new game he had a BSOD. He also noticed really bad data transfer using his Crucial BX500 SSD. The error he was getting was a DPC Watchdog Violation so i decided to download the SSD software from the website and run it and the software updated the Firmware and fixed the issue. As this was on Windows 10 i cannot say if windows 11 would do the same.

The DPC_Watchdog_Violation is a blue screen error that can appear on the Windows operating system. It's usually occurred due to some specific reasons, like unsupported SSD firmware, old SSD driver version, hardware incompatibility issues, or system files are corrupted. Although Microsoft released an update to fix major DPC Watchdog issues, the problem can still prevail to this day. The common reason why this happens is if you’ve installed hardware or software components that your operating system can’t communicate with. Go to the manufacturers website and download the utility for your Solid State Drive or NVME drive. Once downloaded you will see if any updates are available to fix the sync between your drive and SSD.
Afterwards run the command prompt in admin and type:-
DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /Restorehealth

After you see a message that says "The operation completed successfully,"
type sfc /scannow
This should fix any system files corrupted from the BSOD.

That error is a hardware failure, but also often overclocking related

Was this meant to be a guide for others with the same issue?

If SFC doesn't come up clean, then you'll need to run the above-mentioned DISM command and then uninstall the latest update and force-reinstall the update. This seems to be the only way to fix "botch-Tuesday" moments.

SFC always has an error in windows 11 about one specific bluetooth file, it's never been a perfect magical fix for problems

Yeah, it does with 22H2, and it also happened, starting with the August, 2022 patch-Tuesday, IIRC. But for the 22H2 ISO, you always need to run those commands before running Windows Update.

The bug is baked in the 22H2 ISO, but not in the original 21H2 ISO.

This error was fixed in my sons computer after updating the SSD firmware. The ssd was failing to negotiate with the system due to outdated firmware. It was something i wasn't expecting to happen with a SSD drive, but i was please to fix his error. He hasn't had a BSOD since doing the above. Microsoft likes to cause complications at times. My son runs his pc on stock with no Overclocking, but i understand this could also happen with other hardware. I thought i would just post this in case anyone has a similar issue.Cheers all
