driver issues

well i got a xfx 5770 and its doing what my asus 5770 did but not as often as i posted in a previos one. the driver crashes. but here i am confused. i got msi afterburner for voltage tweaking and it says the driver version is 8.1 but when i go to device manager in windows it says 8.7

It's a minor issue on MSI Afterburners part because I would have the same problem or sometimes it wouldn't even show you the driver info. Just bugs.. If you can pass stability tets and play games fine there's nothing to worry about

any thought on why the driver will crash during games?
