I hope I'm in the correct thread. I recently purchased a new laptop. Inadvertently pressed download on the above referenced topic. It's 95 percent waiting to reboot. It has been about 50 minutes so far to reboot. I realize I do not want this. How do I disable this? Thank you.

Shifting this to General Hardware, as I think it's an overall Driver problem, not a storage issue, and might even need to be software, but we'll start there and see if some of the hardware guys can help.
If you're on a screen that just says "Rebooting" or "Restarting", and nothing else but the %, you'll just have to wait it out, and hope it doesn't break too much before you can uninstall the program. If you're still downloading the app (unlikely), then just close the browser, or cancel the download.

Sounds like a fishy app...

Not a virus per se, but I don't trust driver update apps.

Uninstall the app when you can. I'd download and run malwarebytes anti malware and do a scan just to be sure
