$500 is not bad, I was thinking that. Something tells me the PS4 will be the same price, I doubt Sony will try to undercut MS - they've already done that to themselves on a lot of points.

I'm sure there's plenty of people that were expecting a cheaper system after all of the rumors that came out pointing in that direction. However, they're called rumors for a reason.

I can't say I'm surprised myself. I was expecting something close to that price range in the first place. Like you stated, the PS4 will probably retail around the same as well.

Even the conferences themselves, The only game I cared about on the MS conference was spark, but Sony already has a very similar title to that also, and smartglass, Sony Demo'd the same thing(or something very similar) during watch dogs gameplay -_-. There were a few games I liked on the Sony Conference though, the main one being KINGDOM HEARTS 3 :peace:

, but there is no question the Sony Conference Annihilated the MS Conference.

Like previous consoles, most likely. Not sure if it's more of less of a hit than previous consoles... Probably less.

Sony always takes a hit on their systems, regardless of what they price them. When the PS3s were first coming out, Blu-ray players were still around $400-$500 IIRC. They were losing money for a while on the PS3...and still might be on the slims, but I doubt it. I'd assume Microsoft is losing a good amount too having to bundle the Kinect with the system.
