I want to start building an i7 rig, and I got a decent desktop to hold me over, so Ive decided to sell my main rig. Specs are as follows:

Intel C2D E8500
Foxconn ELA
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produ...6153&cm_re=foxconn_ela-_-13-186-153-_-Product

3gb DDR2 667
2x EVGA 8800gs (note that its an intel motherboard, so they are not in SLi, but they are good for folding, or read the thread about hacking SLi onto intel chipsets and you should be able to get it SLi'd)
320gb WD Sata hard drive
600w thermaltake PS
Case is a Raidmax Smilodon Mid tower (the black and green edition)

I'd like $600 for it shipped. I will consider parting it out if I can get buyers for the majority of the parts. Will also consider trades, just let me know.

The next item is a specialty item. It is an Electrohome Marquee 8500 home theater projector. If you dont know what this is, do some research on it before asking about it, as it is not your run of the mill projector. It is a professional / HT enthusiast, 8-inch CRT projector. (that is, the BULBS are 8 inches circumference, NOT the entire projector.) It retailed for 22 grand back in 1995. This thing doesnt play around. It is about 3 feet long, by about 2 feet wide, maybe a foot and half tall. It is meant to either be put on rollers or mounted from the ceiling. It is capable of a 25 foot screen and a max resolution of 1600x1200p. It could have been used to run a small movie theater. As it happens it is decommissioned from the US military, where if Im not mistaken it was used for flight simulators in the air force. It has BNC inputs capable of all standards including RGB(HV composite sync) RGBHV (horizontal vertical seperate sync) and even RGB (sync on green which is normal red green blue HDTV format.) I have tested it myself with various inputs including PC and Xbox360 as well as Normal DVD and blu-ray players, so it will work with just about anything you hook it up to and automatically configure itself to accept it. I will include BNC to RCA adapters for use with normal equipment like xboxes and such. If you wanted, there is even an HDMI module you can buy to allow it to accept HDMI format. Once again, research! This is still considered to be one of the best of the best home theater projectors among enthusiasts and videophiles, the kind of people who would probably slap you in the mouth if you asked them about what was better, a CRT or LCD projector. Its big, its heavy, its bulky, its definitely not a toy. Its for people with a room dedicated to entertainment, which I dont have, so it has to go.

I am asking $1000 dollars. That does not include shipping. It weighs probably over 150 pounds so it will have to be shipped via freight, so we will have to work it out amongst ourselves if I can actually find a buyer for something like this. Either that, or it could be picked up locally, in which case I can attempt to demo it, and as an extra I will throw in the cabinet that it came in, pictured below, or if youre close enough to arkansas i will consider delivery for extra. If you choose it to be shipped the cabinet will NOT be included as there is no possiblity of it getting shipped. It'll jsut be scrapped. The cabinet is a rear projection system, and the screen is 62 inches. This is what it was in when it was used as a flight simulator.

I'll also consider trades for possibly a VERY nice and large HDTV, or smaller and VERY VERY nice LCD projector, or perhaps anything else of value. Let me know.

I have a heatware under the name papahyooie, but its new and blank so it wont do you any good. I have an ebay account under the same name which is 100% positive feedback, and I have bought things from respectable citizens of TPU. If you need verification just ask, and I'll see if some of them might vouch for me.

Roll on the pics:

lol thanks! The folding hasnt gone well for me so im doing this to get an i7 rig to crunch, as crunching has worked out much better for me. (on a haitus right now because the electric company decided that they hadnt charged us enough over the past 6 months and is taking it back with a vengence) I actually never did get it RMA'd, they never accepted or denied it. It still just says in progress or something like that. The other GTS is sitting in an emachines which im using as my daily driver and light gaming, lol.

One and the same! Not that I didnt like you and Bog's hardware don't get me wrong lol! Just (hopefully) ready to upgrade. Am i asking too much for the rig? I think i probably am. I'm posting it locally as well though, which is likely to get me a better price, so i'll wait before dropping it.

Good god. I bet you could stuff a mini-itx in that projector and have a potrable outdoor theater.

Well underneath the cover you might scrounge enough space for a small computer, surely a mini-itx, maybe even micro atx lol. It has bays in the back for add-in input/output cards (such as the HDMI card) so Im sure you could use one of those bays.

... however, portable??? Maybe if you attatched it to a golf cart, lol. It could weight up to 200 pounds, I cant even come close to lifting it myself, and I actually pulled a muscle with my roommate helping. Plus it has to be calibrated, mechanically and electronically each time you move it, so you'd have to measure out the correct distance, angle, etc. Would be a pain, but im sure it'd be possible.
