Pulling out individual hairs from your head is good for about 5 minutes per hair. Nasal hairs is about 8 minutes. ( i recommend leaving your pubes where they are if you are at work.)

Too much caffeine will make it hard to get to sleep when the day is over. The B vitamins are know for helping with energy levels (look at the ingredients of 5 hour energy). Getting up and moving from time to time helps also. And stay hydrated, which will also help with the moving aspect.

We don't have "lifestyle" forums, speaking as someone who has gone without sleep for 6 days I would suggest proPlus >>> black coffee >>> keep moving >>> don't close eyes, of course you could avoid all that and go down the Old Skool route and just not sleep, its not really hard after all :D

As someone who has documeted sleep issues I recommend getting up and moving while doing some useful with your brain and hands every so often. It will keep your brain/body stimulated (to a point of course).

If i try to sleep i don't sleep and vice versa.

Lol, so every topic on the planet is, you are talking about sleep or not sleeping, this is a tech forum, I agree that if you posted a thread about some research around sleep and how a lack of it produces an enzyme that fights cancer then you would be right on the money..... as they say, "context is king".

Many many moons ago I used to work very long night shifts. After discovering my ever-high tolerance to coffee and energy drinks I've decided to try something different:
1) Vitamin water or 100mg pills of vitamin C.
2) Glucose pills (you can buy those in any grocery store)
Alternatively - vitamin packs for cold/flu. It has both )))

Maybe it is not the best long-term solution, but for a single 48hour stretch it will keep you awake and energized.
Red Bull will simply help to stay awake for an hour or two, and then it will make you crash harder than before you drank it :banghead:

During my crazy days in college we used to stay awake with absinthe and coffee (also helps to polish off the buzz from vodka and/or cognac), but I doubt you can do that at work without getting fired, or if you have a weak liver :toast:

I get up for 5-6am with only few hours of sleep for car events and even on holidays recently to catch my flight,i'm awake and active until 12-1am at night just by keeping myself occupied with things.
Eating smart,drink plenty of water and exercise helped me a lot to survive my daily activities which consist of getting 7-8hours sleep,7am start of the day and then bed time 10:30-11:30 on work day and then 12-1am on weekend. Keeping my brain active and physically moving my body helps keep me going.
