I have applied Thermal Paste and the Temps. read @60c which to me when i touch the heatsink it doesn't feel that hot. i ahve tried removing the Battery but i have reset the BIOS to Default and that didn't help. the Heatsink is stock so idk. i'd thought the Teamps. would be lower like 40c. what could be going on? i am going to update the BIOS on it and see if that fixes anything.

Side Note: when i first booted the Computer the BIOS Displayed CMOS Battery was Low. Could that effect anything? i wouldn't think so.

That is normal, low cmos battery error means it was unable to restore bios. This happens to boards that are new or haven't had power in a while.

anyone?

Update1: now the Mobo stalls/freezes at POST. i recently updated the BIOS through Windows but the Mobo was working just fine early yesterday. i can't even get to the BIOS Settings. it might be the CPU? idk.

Update2: ok, i switched out the Battery. still causing it to stall. i called up my trusty computer store and they said it may be the CPU causing the issue. i may look into getting a new Back Plate for this Mobo as i'm using a custom crappy one that I THINK it's not getting good contact with the CPU but again the Heatsink isn't hot to the touch at all.

Issue is Fixed! with the Heatsink we had those rubber pads were causing a contact issue. CPU is now a nice 39C :)
