Elitegroup Computer Systems (ECS) today unveiled the C19-A SLI, the first ECS motherboard leveraging SLI technology for the Intel platform based on the NVIDIA nForces4 SLI XE chipset.

With the C19-A SLI, Intel enthusiasts can experience NVIDIA SLI technology, which was previously available exclusively for the AMD platform. Better still, the C19-A SLI makes SLI affordable by delivering a full range of high-end features at the price of a mainstream motherboard.

The C19-A SLI features ECS' unique S.D.G.E. (Scalable Dual Graphic Engines) architecture, allowing two graphics cards to be connected and operate in tandem on one motherboard, delivering stunning 3D graphic performance on up to four monitors. Support for NVIDIA SLI opens the door to earth-shattering graphics performance which will be welcomed by PC gamers and technology enthusiasts devoted to the world's most popular processing platform.

The C19-A SLI features the latest technologies that deliver top system performance with superb upgrade flexibility. It features support for Intel Pentium processor Extreme Edition; dual DDR2 667 memory up to 16GB; two PCI-E x16 for NVIDIA SLI; four SATA II slots supporting RAID 0, 1, 0+1, 5; Giga LAN; FSB 1066; and eight channel high definition audio.

The motherboard is designed with four-phase PWM, which ensures a stable power supply for CPU processing.

The C19-A SLI delivers unrivalled PC security, storage and overclocking technologies, including ActiveArmor, an instant-on protection; MediaShield, a powerful and easy to use storage system; and nTune for enhanced overall system performance through a friendly overclocking utility.

Availability
The C19-A SLI will be available mid February. RRP £55 ex vat.

I had terrible experiences with Elite mainboards.

Elite makes mainboard called "GAME UNION", Basicly low cost TOP end game mainboard. I bought GAME UNION K7S7AG, it was over $100. It blew out after 5 hours, front USB port completely fried out gold pin(& LITE PLASTIC PLUG ON FIRE). Stupidly I tried another of same board, Although ELITE would not honour there own warrentee. I had TECHNICIAN install board for another $50. Exact same thing happened, while still in shop & no refund nor Warrentee offered by ethier ELITE nor shop that installed. These people are rediculus, Elite is part of "Midwest" organization of MAFIA from Chicago, no matter where equipment is stated to be made. GAME UNION first claims ENGLAND than MSI then finally I tracked down to somewhere in Chicago. Weird stuff happens to people who buy their equipment. It is old, often PENTIUM I in basic design, with power names hooked onto mainboard as mere s;ots without nessesary controller to operate, lower grade controllers so slot is useless advertiseing gimmick. Then slots really don't function as supposed to.Maybe theres worse, yet do you know of any large scale manufacturers who use ELITE equipment in their product? I don't & will never use ELITE again. Its so bad it catches your attentuion once you do & complete economic loss.GAME UNIONS web site is chaotic mess too.Like Alcoholic coded it.Basicly:I HATE ELITE & GAME UNION.

Do Not Buy Ecs, -ever-.

Dear CIC: My 2 mainboards still work, one so badly as to say unuseable, just blown front USB port is not enough, yet CHARGING Full fare for Technology that is worth maybe 1/3 of price ECS demands is bad in itself. Let alone no Guarentee or Warrentee backup, form of "armed Robbery'" & deciet. Also No offense to AMD, yet processors should state exact speed not some "comparrison" speed. My GAME UNION mainboard with its Carboned front USB port & AMD 2600+ where saved not by Those CRUMMY manufacturers, but by Microsofts SERVICE PACK 2. Which then controlled "buffer Overrun" problem system had broken down to. Also made worse by product of "CHEAP" engineering. No wonder ECS mainboards are way OVERPRICED, there NO GOOD. IF YOU want "Spooky" Halloween Terrible experience, Then fine your one on your own. I changed over to INTEL inspite of their "BULLY" pulpit, at least INTEL equipment works & is virtually same quality as AMD at same "true" frequency, in spite of AMD claim otherwise,INTEL is actually better made & runs better (especially at "low end" tasking & "high end" crash resistence).HECK INTEL DOES WITH 754 pins WHAT AMD TAKES 939 TO GET SAME RESULT. AMD too is inflating their price by deception thru false speed ratings &Dead Pin Counts.Guess theres NO HONOUR AMOUNG THIEVES.AMD & ECS ARE THIEVES. I beg to differ , my ECS ka1 mvp crossfire extreme 200 xpress ati rd480 chipset motherboard overclocks very good and its more stable than my dfi lanparty nf4 sli-dr overclocks better.

Most of their stuff is low end, until recently they didnt make good boards. About 2 months ago (I think) they announced they were taking their company in a new direction, and looks like they are standing behind that. Before that, it was low end stable stuff. Now it seems like low end stuff with good options, or inexpensive high end parts. :toast:
