I wonder if they change that(59-60fps) with the new version, Special Edition...
the "new version" is nothing that you can't achieve with modding (actually modding might give better results) i doubt they give anything more than "just a graphic and effects overhaul"

the only thing i would consider as a step up from them, would be a 64bit executable, otherwise i don't need the "remastered" version

Remastered:
"Video games[edit]
For more details on this topic, see Video game remake.

A comparison of Halo: Combat Evolved (left) and Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary (right) with redrawn graphics.
Remastering a video game is more difficult than remastering a film or music because the video game's graphics show their age.[11] This can be due to a number of factors. For example, modern televisions tend to have higher display resolutions than the televisions available when the video game was released.[11] Because of this, classic games that are remastered typically have their graphics redesigned or their original graphics re-rendered at the higher resolutions used by high-definition televisions.[11] If a video game with redesigned artwork should be considered more a remake than remaster (of the original artwork) is debated.

An example of a game that has had its graphics redesigned is Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary,[11] while the core character and level information is exactly the same as in Halo: Combat Evolved.[11][12][13]

An example of a game that has had its original graphics re-rendered at higher resolutions is Hitman HD Trilogy, which contains two games with high resolution graphics: Hitman 2: Silent Assassin and Hitman: Contracts. Both were originally released on PC, PlayStation 2, and Xbox.[14] The original resolution was 480p on Xbox. With the remaster, the games are displayed at 720p on Xbox 360.[14]

There is some debate regarding whether new graphics of an older game at higher resolutions make a video game look better or worse than the original artwork, with comparisons made to colorizing black-and-white-movies.[11]"

a contrario of Halo, skyrim was already nearly perfect in 2011 and now in 2016 with modding : it can be perfect (aka: community modders did all the job Bethesda needed to do for the remaster? .... probably  )

There are no woulds. Did you seriously not read all the announcements and articles? The remaster WILL be 64bit version, running on Dx11 - most likely Fallout 4's engine.

ohhh seriously ... nope sorry i only did read REMASTER which is ... kinda what i explained in the end of my post ...

https://www.reddit.com/r/skyrimmods/comments/4o3nio/skyrim_special_edition_64_bit_confirmed/
oh ... now i see ...

well http://www.pcgamer.com/existing-sky...st-fully-compatible-with-the-special-edition/
almost fully compatible is not enough for me :D

nonetheless TESV:Skyrim legendary ed. + mods + ENB is already perfect ... TESV:Skyrim Special ed. ... well even for 64bits and "remastering" + adding some effect that can already be added ( i would be sad is Bethesda took the work of the community around skyrim to do their remaster) mod compatibility? (oh well FO4 is already mod'able) i know i will get the special edition for free ... but still ...

Yep. Basically, I run all my graphical mods using the ENB engine only, which puts graphics mods stored in VRAM, leaving system RAM free for regular, non-graphics mods all the way up to the 255 limit.

Basically, it gives you an approximation of a 64-bit system with the mods you want. The remaster won't give you that, because at this stage not many will go and make their mods workable in the remaster as well.

Someone from Bethesda said that most were supposed to be compatible. People from the modding community believe that some mods might not need more than a simple resave in the new Creation Kit, which is probably ok.

Not needing the SKSE memory patch and ENBoost, and not being afraid of "overmodding" is a seller by itself for me.
Plus, it's free, so what's not to like?

confirmed or supposed, because from what i did read it was more a "maybe it will work directly or after a resave " ... :p (255 limite is not really overmodding when carefully choosen, and that come from someone that play with at last 80 follower mods on a 255 full list ... )

SKSE is awesome (mem patch? what is it? never needed it, it seems o_O ) ENB : is nearly mandatory for a lot of games not only for skyrim (come on we are talking about Bethesda ... nearly none of their game is finished, without modding ...never liked any of their vanilla npc in Oblivion or Skyrim )

well you are right one it's only pro point : free

other than that i don't have any confidence in Bethesda to do Skyrim "almost up to" (read 10% of) what the community achieved with the original one (including all limitations faced) and FO4 is not a warranty (well to me FO4 engine look 2011 with 64bit and dx11 compatibility, yep rechecked both games .... and my modded Skyrim looks better than vanilla Fallout 4  )

luckily most modder will keep up either on Skyrim classic (well the best of them will not let it down ) and/or do more for the remastered one, the best part of skyrim (beside the story ) is the community around it ...

redoing all in the remaster will be a pita (tho i will probably do it ...) nah ... no improvement they've done or did will reach the little toes of what the community did give us these 5 years

And Enderal is released in English!! :)

http://enderal.com/

from RPS:
The mod itself promises a “dark, psychological storyline” that takes over 30 hours to beat, with a cast of fully-voiced characters, and a revamped progression system that goes back to the experience points of traditional RPGs. While it’s all based on Skyrim’s machinery (you’ll still be swinging your sword by the looks of things), the mechanics have been altered somewhat, and a whole new open world will be there to explore “with its own lore and hand-crafted, detailed and diverse landscapes (desert, heathlands, forests, jungles, mountains and more).”

Downloading right now.
Ever since getting 100% achievements I've been trying to find an excuse to install Skyrim again. Skywind is not out yet, so I'm gonna give this a try.

My first impressions on Enderal: I like it!
The world map is huge, graphics is good, environment is densely populated and looks very bright and happy.
Unlike other mods, it is actually not based on TES lore, but its own unique story. Fully voiced, nice looking, very user-friendly.
There are few bugs with world map screen, but otherwise I did not encounter any problems or bugs after almost 3 hours.
It feels like there is a lot more than 30 hours of gameplay ahead of me.

About how huge was the download and time it took? I have seen that mod mention a few times. Kind of want to try it out, but if it is huge I have to time the down load during when my ISP don't count downloads to my small cap.

Dang, ok, definitely will have to wake up early to download in my free window then.
Good news is that they offer direct downloads, as well as *dun-dun-DUN*!!! a torrent option :)

You can also download a launcher, and use it to download the game content (a bit slower). I used torrent option, but I believe autodownload is already operational.
Patches and updates are also distributed the same way.

Since I will be getting it for free then I will have to give it a go. I read that our save files should transfer which would be awesome. I have a bit over 200 hours in this game and though I finished the main story I never finished the DLC (though I spent much time building my home with hearthfire)

There is still plenty to see and do.

After I finish Bioshock Infinite I will give this mod a go on Skyrim.

This is why people love Elder Scrolls game. 5 years old, going on 6 and people are still discussing it. The ES games are great. There's no denying it.

Looking forward to Elder Scrolls VI.

Just finished fresh s.t.e.p. install last night. Tonight DynDoLod. Maybe I will actually finish the game this time. Caught in the ever mod curse. Then Remastered. Has it been 5 years? Should prob see how my g.f. is.

Benchmark Scores bench...mark? i do leave mark on bench sometime, to remember which one is the most comfortable. :o

Elder Scroll VI, is there even a rumor about it? because from what i've gathered, ESO will be the last (since it's a persistent univers )... o_O and TESV is an undying perfection (that the fanbase and mod community made it perfect ... not Bethesda anyway, that goes on the double for the future "special edition", since the only thing it bring, that was not already made by modders, is 64bit exec, which is quite welcome ... if i might say.)

this one was ... in rumor for E3 2015 ;)
958e47752b8c4ba0b9642367a11f8863.jpg
and we got ESO in 2014

 DANG IT i reached the
QEJnGa8.jpg

AGAIN! (776hrs on it nonetheless)

but i could do a nice little test before my install went wonky (all script, quest/event/location on save, keep being reset and if i start a new game Alduin bug :D that's by far my best "crash" in skyrim  )
IMG_0447.JPG IMG_0450.JPG

as you can see "mod it until it crashes" is my moto for my title screen :D
