I play with a pad and it has been a great experience. Like Random has said, it's very smooth and feels intuitive. Ninkobwi has it right when he says that it was designed around 360 controller functionality.

I suppose that would make the DX11 rumored patch even more likely.

I liked the ENB patch, but no FXAA compatibility was a killer, since there isn't a texture pack out there for everything, that mod still makes a massive difference in texture detail, everything looks too muddy without it.

To find actor ID open the console using tilde key and click on him.

It will list the id's of all things vignar.

ENB Patch worth it?

Is this patch worth the update? Or should I pass? Also that dam patch off steam messed with mt LAA and now I am getting the same stuttering issues as before. To fix this I was forced to drop my PQ settings a lot. With the LAA I did not have this issue and the game ran quite smooth with high PQ. What this company thinking?

The 11.11a drivers made a good difference for me. Ironically they disable one of the 5970's GPUs...

Well I just installed it, and it makes the game run 4x worse than without, and breaks Afterburner. "Great" patch :shadedshu

EDIT: Still getting random crashes too, though I managed to play for about 2hrs or so before a crash, instead of 20-30mins pre-mod. Some improvement, I guess.

Man I have played this game for about 5 hours and I am stunned. It looks and sounds so much like you are in Lord Of The Rings it is crazy. I love this game. Man could Turbine learn a thing from this company when designing games.

I got the "STEP". He (the one that made it) combines ENB with the FXAA Injector and his own custom settings.

Do smithing enchantmets change the inital stats a weapon is created at?
am waiting to get enchantment to 100 and enchanting some increase smithing stuff before making my deadric armor but if it doesnt I'll smith it now.

Whats up with that screenshot of the full room? Why does it look like that? Is that some extreme FXAA action?

And I think the new driver improved IQ generally in Skyrim but I can't be sure. Perhaps better AF?

And I got an exe from crazyeyes that still is LAA, ask him for it if you are crashing now.

Also I used the command mode massive inventory pickup with Lydia and now she seems bugged and can't carry anything besides what I left her with after the last big loot sell off. She only has like ten items but everyhting in my inv with weight is greyed to her and command mode never shows "pick up" anymore when hovering over an item.

No it only increase when you go to upgrade your armor/weapons I did the same thing my bows do over 150+

Well I just did a check to see if my FPS dropped because of the patch and I have lost about 7 AVG FPS

Just installed Cat 11.11a and I got my 7 AVG FPS back lol.

Ok Skyrim was fun while it lasted, I finally get the game to work by last last post above ^ then I make it through the caves and it stops loading again. I give up... This game is very glitchy, I may play later on if it ever gets patched good enough to enjoy for more than 10 minutes.

Has any one played this game with a 360 pad?

I couldn't help but notice that the UI is very console-y so was wondering if the game plays better with a pad.

Tried it during my first days of play through. I require extreme precision as an archer so I felt an x360 controller was quite a downgrade in my playing experience. I also need those quick turns when on melee. Something which an analog stick fails to deliver.

A bit unfortunate there I would say. In my case it only crashes through my own actions, namely forcing some settings through Nvidia Inspector or the Control Panel. Thus far only forcing Ambient Occlusion works for me.

Well Brandon I don't hear many others complaining about not being able to even play. No where near the amount bitching about BF3, that's for sure. So it's gotta be your machine (as it was in many of the BF3 cases too surely tho there sure seemed to be a lot).

Get the .exe from crazyeyesreaper. It's up on the TPU TeamSpeak in File Browser.

Mine always locks up loading a save unless I load up a save I downloaded right at character creation first. Pretty annoying. It seems memory related but then why would loading the other save first fix it? Unless there's some sort of initial memory spike that doesn't happen on successive load-ins.
