That is so wrong...

That is like saying Blue is Male and Pink is Female. His statement like my previous one are both artificial constructs that thus can adhere to either sex.

Nature doesn't say Blue is for boys and pink is for girls but the brainwashing begins before you are even born at your baby shower.

It follows that are reasoning would create such generalities but that doesn't make it correct.

Likewise blue is in fact as male as it is a female trait, same for pink, same for virtual dragons, Fantasy RPG, and pretty much anything. Just cause you think it should be a certain way doesn't mean the rest of the Universe adheres to that.

I know quite a few females of various ages who couldn't wait for Skyrim.
It probably has more a female audience along the lines of The Sims.

Something like a military shooter or driving games like F1 2011 would be more appropriate.

It's not the same at all, men and women have different brains generally we're wired up to be a bit more physically aggressive ( hence play fighting being more common in male children rather than female) and it's why generally you get more men doing things and being into things that involve violence ( even the digital kind)

I bet if I asked all my female friends/associates about skyrim only 20% of them will know what it is.

Made +130smithing potion along w/ +29smithing armor, ring, and amulet, then made myself a second set of daedra armor and a warhammer for when I switch to two handed once onehanded reaches 100. also now have +31 enchanting potion. will replace my current daedra armor w/ better enchanted replacements as I can.

I have been running this game vanilla with only one mod so far.
Decided to try out some .ini tweaks and set the ugrids to 7 as well after reading this thread.

I thought the game looked decent before, but it looks much better now. Only problem I am having is more crashes to desktop. It started happening more often with the last patch, and even more often with the increased ugrids. I get awesome performance, but the random crashes are starting to piss me off.

Luckily I backed up the launch day .exe and am going to fire that up and use the LAA 4gb patch on it.

This game has turned me into a hermit.

It doesn't work with most games, unless you are playing in Window Mode, and even if you are, it wouldn't be what you want to use because it pauses everything on the screen, so taking screens while in action with it isn't a great idea.

I'll give it a go as I've been having alot of frequent CTDs, thanks for uploading.

EDIT: well it works, just make sure you set your audio settings back to 44100khz as the CTD on intro comes back if you have it set to 192 etc.

Skyrim 4gb exe and a whole lot of HD texture mods here. No crashes with it so far. Vanilla exe keeps on crashing on me as well.

Skyrim now crashing to desktop?

Oh darn, what now? Skyrim now crashes to desktop a few seconds after it tells me if I want to continue my game. I did notice Steam was updating the game, it took about ½ hour to update Skyrim and now ever since this update it crashes. WTF?
I checked the task manager (CTRL+ALT+DEL) and it showed about 3.8GB of ram was being used when I start Skyrim. Did this update now allow for more than 2GB?

Why is it crashing to desktop? This sucks :mad:

I see you thanked my post, so I'm assuming you figured it out. You must be running texture packs to be using that kind of RAM, using that 1.1exe and Fords LAA program should solve the problem.

Theres a ton of them, head over to skyrimnexus.com and see what they got. Beautiful Skyrim, Landscape Texture Pack are going to be the 2 most noticeable. But there are a ton more beyond those.
