Okay, so I loaded skyrim back up. Time to play a wood elf archer.

I think I'll be starting a new game soon.
I finished the main quest, and was planning to do the side quests of the Companions, the College of Winterhold and the Thieves Guild.

But all 3 of them are broken. Even in my Steam achievements, it says I am not a member of the companions, that I'm not a member of the college, and that I haven't restored the thieves guild to its former glory. Which is so not true since I completed all three factions' main quests... Hence I can't do any of their side-quests except repeat the same ones. I hope this won't repeat itself in my next character.

Shame about that BP. The worst bugs I've encountered were the missing spouse, the Esbern won't talk to you bug during the main quest, and the you'll always have bounty in Markath bug.

Yeah...I don't know what the deal is with your game. I haven't seen, like, any complaints about broken major quests, relatively-speaking anyway. If it was more common I surely would at places like /r/Skyrim.

Usually they say right off the bat if it would cause some compatibility problems...

Yeah I do that too. The swearing lol. Only I whisper the swearwords. Oh... and I swear in the English language too rather than my native language. Probably do so so that the NPC's in Skyrim can understand what I'm saying..
