I have never gone back to check an ore vein. I would assume that they would, since plants and animals do. I think it may be 30 days respawn time. In game days, of course.

This says that: "After being mined, the vein is depleted, though it will eventually respawn: 30 days if the mine is tagged as "cleared", 10 days otherwise."

Thanks for explaining, I use the wiki with a lot of caution since I don't want to spoil stuff which I haven't discovered yet.

Another quick question re enchanting. Do I need to up any levels for efficient enchanting?

Lets say I have hide boots with 30% more sneak.
I build glass/daedric/dragon boots.
Can I disenchant the hide boots and enchant my new dragon ones with 30% more sneak using a grand soul gem or do I need to increase any particular skill to do so?

30 game days will take me ages before I can go back to mine the depleted veins.

To the black smith and shops for me.
Need to upgrade my ebony armor.

BTW my game save size is 19.9mb and not one CTD.
Have to find a way of getting rid of the resurrected Skjor though.

Have been going around Skyrim killing and disabling Nirnroot glow.

Wise move re. the wiki.

Yes you want to use Grand or Black but still the percentage of the effect on the item you enchant yourself will depend on how high your Enchanting skill is, as far as I can tell. So it may not be as high as 30% effect at first but eventually will be higher. Thus it appears to make the most sense to disenchant "lower percentage" items whenever possible. There are also the Enchanting Perks to help. For this reason I have yet to disenchant a necklace giving me 100% Disease Resistance.

if you want to make really powerful enchanted items, you need to use alchemy with it and make enchanting boosting potions.

I used the circlet + falmer helmet exploit to increase my alchemy, and managed to produce and enhantment of 50% bonus to one-handed damage and 33% magic defense and other powerful effects which made my character a god, going after the reduce 100% magick use armor next :nutkick:

I never tried eyefinity, but you could try Skyrimprefs.ini (in mydocuments/mygames/skyrim) and change your resolution from there if you can't do so through the game launcher?
