idk ive used multiple ENB series(like 14 different ones) and RCRN and performance sucks, and it looks like shit.

I was just pointing to this particular post of his. He seems adamant that RCRN does not work the way it was intended. I was just trying to reason with him because here I am using the said mod w/o any problems. Sorry if I used the word bash. He was stating that he's happy with his own tweaks and would still use it. It sounded to me that he was implying that I was peddling my tweaks for him to use. I shared my tweaks to those who are interested. I wasn't forcing anyone to use it. Let's just be happy Pc Gamers :).

So far, these suck hard.....I didn't mind them in FO3/NV, but damn they suck here.

Well I've only seen one "projectile" kill cam as yet despite landing many arrow hits and I wasn't super impressed but I figure it's better than not having it at all. The water transition fix is the best one of the more obvious changes anyway.

Well, I'm not trying to persuade you or change your mind. Your entitled to your opinions. Likewise I am also entitled to my opinions. I posted and shared my config and screenshots because I wanted others to see what a bunch of mods can do to Skyrim to give it the look it deserves. If the mods I listed happened to have had left a bad taste in your mouth, you don't need to bash it. Like I said its hard to please everyone given the fragmentation of PC gaming. We don't share the same system configuration. I'm sorry if I sound like I'm rebutting your previous statement. Well, anyways may I ask if your using the built-in AO in the Nvidia control panel? Does it look the same as the ENB's? Does it have the same color correction? I havent seen Nvidia's AO. If you use it, can you please share some pics. I greatly appreciate it. TIA :)

I am using nvidia's forced quality AO. I havent seen ENB AO, but if its a newer algorythm like nvidias itll look pretty close to the same. its just nice for the nvidia users since it looks really good, and not much performance hit, if at all.

Elfrim or some chit. The guy that Ulfrig killed, its his wife, and she says she will wait, but you know. If I kill all of them in the castle I should win a prize, instead I get a 10000 bounty and everyone tried to kill me.

Hm......this new patch does seem to have made the water appear clearer and less blue murk which is great.
The performance of the game seems even better too.

Thieves guild fences did not work in my game and has been half fixed with this patch.
Enthir, Mallus, and the Khajiit Caravans do not function correctly as fences, although much better than no fences besides Riften.

Yeah though not just more visually appealing it doesn't do that weird looping sound glitch anymore when you are very near the surface and essentially between the two "zones" (is underwater a different cell perhaps?).

Shadows have gone crazy!

Hey everyone,

This is my first thread post here at Power Up, and I seem to have encountered a pretty serious problem that I don't really have the knowledge to tackle.

I stopped playing Skyrim for about a week, only to return to the game and find that all of the shadowing in the game had gone haywire . I tried turning off all shadow related mods that I implemented in the game, and so far no luck with that. I have no idea what the source of the problem would be.

Hopefully some screen shots will give anyone interested in my shadow problem some idea as to what is happening.

I appreciate any response to this post, and thank you all in advance for any help or time.

Welcome to TPU. Not sure offhand so yeah some screens could help. Also note it is better to edit your first post as opposed to posting twice in a row, thanks.

If not on Steam Cloud then put the files on an image host like imgur.com then you use "" tags with that url.

So like this:

New BETA patch released. 1.5.26.0.5

BUG FIXES

Fixed issue with frequency of first person kill cameras
Underwater effects now display properly
Fixed crash when loading certain plugins
Fixed issue where sun would not appear properly after fast travel

Seems it was accidentally released as an official patch and immediately reverted back to 1.5.24.0.5.

Its the quest "Blood on the Ice'' fixed yet?

There are still people complaining about it so I'd say no.
I have been through the quest twice and both times it behaved strangely.

There are still quest problems which most definitely need to be fixed.

Alright so I'm going to start getting back into Skyrim, I haven't played in a few months. Last time I played ENB was in it's infancy, now I hear terms like Superbl3 or something, so wondering what kind of lighting mods are out there, what are the difference, and what mixes and matches. Also if anyone has suggestions on mods that maybe aren't on the top 100 list as those I will be looking at, something thats great, but maybe not known as much (though I'm looking for mods that will be updated now and then, not something that might lose support and I have to remove later).

Realistic Lighting with Customization and ENB are the best, but i prefer Realistic Lighting with Customization with my custom configuration over ENB. Mainly due too the performance hit with ENB series stuff it sucks. RLwC looks better too i feel.

First, thank you very much for the quick reply, and second thanks for helping me get these up for people to help me diagnose this issue.

These four screen shots demonstrate some of the completely broken shadowing in my game.

http://i.imgur.com/TTFeo.jpg?1
http://i.imgur.com/WLjqX.jpg?1
http://i.imgur.com/kBLjT.jpg?1
http://i.imgur.com/tZalq.jpg?1

The shadows are constantly moving as the camera angle is changed. The problem goes away slightly in first person mode; the shadows are generated in the correct areas and interact somewhat correctly, but they are still incredibly unstable.

Also none of these are shot from 1st person mode, only from the toggle-free camera and also in 3rd person mode.

Thanks for any ideas as to what might be the issue.

verify the integrity of your game cache.

I would like to note if you get transparent walls and textures and corruption on the new ATI drivers disable AA and AF in the game settings panels and use CCC to set your eyecandy, plus its less of a performance hit by almost 10% on my system.
