Hi everyone,
I have my HTPC (with Radeon HD 6570) connected via HDMI to my Samsung PN64D8000 plasma TV. I have been scanning some photographic negatives at 48-bit color, and I would like to look at them at higher than the 24-bit color of my primary monitor to see if the higher bit depth makes a significant difference in image quality. However, I can't figure out how to set the monitor output to a higher bit depth because even though my TV, HDMI 1.4, and graphics card support it. In the windows options, the highest bit depth available is 24-bit. Is there something else I need to enable to make this work?
