It's just an old tech (AMD PowerXpress) under new name. It basically switches between integrated and discrete GPU in laptops depending on what you're doing. Integrated GPU for 2D and desktop, discrete GPU for games and HD video. Its made to save power.

But apparently it has some major issues, right?

What are those issues and how to turn around them if possible? Is there any fix to clear those issues?
