While the first half of this year saw almost no interesting video games, it seems that this half of the year is seeing a new blockbuster every month. The very anticipated shooter Enemy Territory: Quake Wars, which was co-developed by id Software and Activision, has officially gone gold. In an unusual move, Europeans/Australians will get the video game before their North American counterparts. Europeans and Australians will get to play the game on September 28th, while the North Americans have to wait until October 2nd for their turn.

The PC version of this game is $49USD, and $59USD for the Limited Collectors Edition. Xbox 360 and PS3 ports are "in the works", but there is no word as to when we can see them.

It's cool and fast paced, but it has bad physics. The players ice-skate instead of run. It has outdated graphics. Worse than BF2142. The game is a lot less realistic. I was really looking forward to this game until I played the Beta. I have a feeling UT3 will make up for everything that this game lacks - especially graphically.

The beta is like that...lol. I hate when people decide on games and tell others about based on beta. I'm also in the beta. Anyway, just wait till the demo is released to rate the game. =D

The game sucks balls big time and is not worthy to be the shit on BF2's boots, dodgy hit detection and comical looks and don't mention the jerky ass vehicles that have all the impact of a wet fart..:wtf:
