Any news about the liquid inside of the new AIO?
If it is the same as in the Liqtech / Liqtech II (yes, even the II uses the same liquid), then you can assume that after a few months of usage it will start corroding and changing into some king of .... "gunk" and loosing the performance. With Liqtech 1 they had also an issue with leakage... which was later on fixed. But the gunk buildup not. And it IS related to the liquid they are using. More on this at the end.

See here ---

So why I am so sure that the corrosion / gunk is related to the liquid Enermax is using? Because I have an Liqtech 280 (first edition) for TR4. And after a few months of usage I have noticed that the temps have been increasing. Up to the point where in idle my CPU (back then 1950X) was reaching 55 degrees Celsius.
Googled... found a few articles about similar issues ... decided not to RMA the unit but to investigate myself.

Drained, disassembled the block, found same gunk, corrosion. Cleaned it up carefully with some very fine toothbrushes... cleaned the pump, the gaskets (they were in good shape so reused them) and assembled again. But this time filled it up with a mixture of distilled water+ anti corrosive (innovatek Protect).
Tested for a few hours in a "dry run" for leakages then installed back again into my system.

Currently --- running for the third year, in the meantime also switched the mobo + cpu for an TRX40 Gigabyte Aorus Extreme + 3960X --- And the performance of Liqtech AIO loop is still TOP!
So 1000000000% sure it was the liquid and I advise EVERYONE to change it (if it is the light greenish one in the pre-filled loop) just after buying it.

The noise would be a turn off for me.

That is the reason I choose the Corsair H150i Pro I will give up 1-2c for low noise.

I would be more forgiving for fan noise as they can be replaced but for pump noise you are pretty much screwed.

Is it possible to take it apart? The reason because in my Node 202 i would not have enough space inside, so i would drill a hole in the side of the house and the pipe would come out there.

If you need to modify an AIO it maybe time to start actually looking at a custom water option instead.

Start saving your pennies.

The price of this cooler is much lower than it should be which speaks to the fallout or previous gens of this. The Gamer Nexus video does not paint a pretty picture though. Even after that, $99.99 has me thinking this may go into a build I plan on keeping for myself (No way I would sell a PC with this inside).

Not everyone owns a home, and even with apartment insurance how do you know they will cover something like this?

Finally, its running, put the back plate on wrong, got lucky:respect:

Finally, its running, put Intel~AMD back plate on wrong, got lucky:respect: went back to where I started, which was the backplate, sure enough ,short to ground fix:respect:
So far very Quiet, its was needed in my Thermaltake view 37 case, day and night compared to the stock cooler, high 67c vs 90c- Cinebench 20, less watts as well and higher score 3.7 stock clock vs my 4.1 oc score , very happy.

Hi , Bench, sorry for the miscommunication, actually, we want to show users when they install the cooler, the flat mouth direction of screw head needs to be parallel with the assigned hole of the socket. Thanks again for pointing this out, we will revise the video.
