It’s not like they are ever legally for sale
Well, actually, this is not entirely true. I could sell mine and Intel would not say anything. I technically have been given carte blanche to do whatever I want with my ES CPUs now. I cannot say everyone has this "clearance" though. I imagine all reviewers that get the CPUs direct from Intel have been given such these days, but I could be totally wrong.
Back several years ago, there were ES CPUs that some engineers went to jail for, but it seems those CPUs were stolen. So if you see a ES CPU listing.. does the user only have one or two? Probably a legit sale. Now if they have many, especially of the same type, it's probably NOT legit. So that whole post is quite the opposite of my current stance on ES CPUs.
I'm a bit more pissed that LTT didn't think to contact me first before using the post. They probably thought I'd never see it.
LOL.
Good point, so I need to post "cdawall is cooler than cadaveca" so it pops up on there.
Then get the views that thread did, so it ranks in google higher than the one in question. Easy enough to do.
