Eurocom has benchmarked the M4, the world's most powerful 13.3" QHD+ notebook. It is equipped with a breathtaking 3200x1800 QHD+ display, an Intel Core i7 Extreme Processor and NVIDIA GeForce GTX 860M graphics. Eurocom has benchmarked and stress tested the M4 to exemplify the performance that is squeezed into its ultra portable chassis. The 5,760,000 pixels of the 13.3" 3200x1800 QHD+ display are powered by the NVIDIA GeForce GTX 860M graphics with 2GB DDR5 VRAM, 640 CUDA Cores, with a GPU core able to run at up to 1029MHz +boost.

Powered by a full line of 4th Generation Intel Core i7 processors utilizing the Intel HM87 Express Chipset including the Intel Core i7-4940MX Processor Extreme with 4 cores and 8 threads running at 3.1 GHz (up to 4 GHz max turbo frequency) with 8 MB L3 cache. The integrated Trusted Platform Module 1.2 from Infineon Technologies ensures that digital certificates, passwords and keys are made more secure from software attacks and physical theft. TPM provides the ability for a computing system to run applications more secure and allows secured remote access to perform electronic transactions and communication more safely. The increased security, brought on by the TPM 1.2 can save organizations in IT management costs.

"Part of Eurocom's ongoing performance verification and research and development, Eurocom engineers regularly test and benchmark different form factors with a variety of component configurations in order for customers to employ more intelligent decision making to select the perfect system for them" Mark Bialic, Eurocom President. Up to 16 GB DDR3-1866 SODIMM memory is supported via two slots with 8 GB modules that are easy to access to upgrade or replace. The M4 is fully configurable and upgradable, prices start at $935 USD and can change based on the processor, memory configuration, hard drives, mSATA storage drives, operating system, wireless card configuration. The NVIDIA GeForce GTX 860M GPU provides a potent combination of immersive features and performance that you deserve for all your games, applications, and entertainment; while also providing intelligent power features to extend battery life.

Yes, because it totally makes sense to have 265 DPI for a Windows laptop on a 13.3" screen. I wonder if you can increase the Windows's scalling DPI that much, not to mention the close to 0 possibility of playing any games on native resolution.

With GTX 880M and i7-4940MX, you should be able to play BF4 at 3200x1800 with "High" preset and no-AA just fine. Any game made on Unreal (console port), will run at that resolution with full eye-candy just fine.

I doubt it, but definitely not with a 860M GPU.

You're not meant to game at 3200x1800, you're meant to game at 1600x900 and upscale it. Then outside of games you have a higher DPI screen.

He is right, it's meant to be 1:2, on 13" it'll be fine, almost maxing out everything

So you're supposed to pay all that money just to upscale 900p?

That sounds like a waste of money to me. Why didn't they just stick with a 1080p screen. Probably eat less energy and brighter too.

It's a goddamn portable workstation with a high resolution display, not a gaming laptop. Just because you can game at its native resolution doesn't mean it's a good idea with its spec, so you upscale 900p to get the frame rates and quality you desire. Outside of that, you have an incredible screen to do work on.

You can also game on it with compromises if you want, that's the logic.

The title says 880M, yet the PR and specs mention the 860M only, the new 14" Blade sports a 870M which is much faster than a 860M, I don't think you can use an 880M in such a small chassis.

At 1600x900 each pixel will be upscaled to display on exactly 4 pixels of that 3200x1800 panel, thus avoiding any blurry image.

ummm...no. it is a gaming laptop, and is marketed as such by clevo, the OEM responsible for them. workstations come with quadro or firepro cards, NOT geforce cards.

Everybody is saying the same thing over and over again, but none of you actually seen in reality how this 1:2 or 1:4 works. In theory you are right, but in practice is a mess. I have seen live and compared next to each other a 4K TV and an 1080p TV, same size. The 1080p desktop on a 4K TV was a disaster compared to the native one;
Also, just to end this, I have tried the same scaling thing with both Samsung ATIV B9 and Asus Zenbook, using half the resolution in games, and....no way Jose. ;)
