EVGA 2070 Super XC Ultra bios alternative?

I've got the fans that start and stop constantly and they make a weird noise, as far as I've read it's a defect on these cards. I've been using EVGA Precision X1 to make them never turn off but I don't want to keep using it. Is there any bios that I could use to replace the original? Don't care about OC or idle fans.

You've said it yourself that it's a defect, a different BIOS wont fix it.

As far as I know you can't change the BIOS on Nvidia cards from 1000 series and up anyway.

Benchmark Scores Faster than yours... I'd bet on it. :)
You can BIOS flash the 1000/2000 series cards AFAIK.....

That said, RMA your card if it is a defect. If you insist on flashing and borking your warranty, consider flashing it with another EVGA 2070 Super model that doesn't have the same fan profile (are there any?)... or create a custom profile where the fans don't constantly twitch on/off. I'm assuming they are turning on and off because they are sitting at the threshold, right? Raise that temperature/threshold.

I've had the card for more than a year so RMA isn't an option, plus, where I live we don't have EVGA support and no way to ship the card to the USA. Since I bought this card I've been using a fan curve that I made and it works fine, but I don't want to use any software for that, that's why I want to know if there is any compatible bios with a different fan curve.

I don't imagine so...any of the 3 fan cards 2070S should have the same curve. I'd worry about flashing a 2 fan variant if there is one.

Just have Precision start up minimized with your curve. I know it isn't ideal, but at least you don't see it and it applies.

I don't want to use Precision, it makes a lot of game crash. I want to flash a different fan curve.

Have you tried contacting EVGA?

I doubt it's a defect.
Probably a feature called Fan Stop.

Never had an issue gaming using precision software with EVGA cards.
I just ramped the fans up when things got toasty and back to normal when finished.

You can easily adjust the fan curve with MSI afterburner. My 1060 from evga can have some resonance from the fans between 25-30% fan speed so I adjusted the curve so that it starts above that. I wouldn't mess around with bios flashing just for this.
