You can get them here: http://www.evga.com/products/moreInfo.asp?pn=401-EV-1234-01
Is that for watercooling?
No, the GTX 295 doesn't have a backplate. This goes on the backside of the card mostly for looks, though it does work as a heatsink too.
Got ya haha I was wondering what that was?!
Any idea if they plan on doing one for the new 55nm GTX 260s?
Dunno. Would a 65nm 260 backplate work? If so, you could try contacting eVGA about getting one.
I've seen some people get some great results with this 10 - 20 C better from what I've read. Sucks how no Australian etailers sell it gotta order internationally.
Or just have good connections
Edit: I just seen your new location erocker, hilarious. Mussels must be pleased.
Where did you see that? Anyone know of any reviews for this?
btw, this looks like it will work with any GTX 295 based on the reference design?? I ask because I got this BFG card recently:
I believe it does work with most GTX 295's.
Don't bring old Hot Deals back to life though, you get me excited that there actually might be a good deal posted on TPU.
