May I ask why he's selling it? It's a really good card and I'm shocked that he wants to get rid of it. $700 is a good deal but $50 more and I could get a brand new one. If I traded a EVGA GTX 580 SC with backplate for it, how much money would he want added to it?

he's actually interested in switching to a setup similar to yours, 3x gtx 580. As far as trading, I'd say gtx 580 + $200. Also, you can buy them new for $749, true, but they're quite hard to find.
