I'm so glad i got my 1200 P2 for 120$ back in 2019. Right before power supply prices skyrocketed.

And you would be 120% wrong, since Super Flower hasn't been working with EVGA on ANY newer platforms or models for several years now. The G6 was Seasonic and this is almost certainly Seasonic as well. The G5 was FSP and it wasn't particularly good. The only models EVGA still uses Super Flower for are the older P2 and T2 platforms and I don't think they are even using them for those anymore as I believe those have been superceded by newer models.

The G6 was Seasonic based on an upgraded Focus plus platform but it seems that EVGA is back in bed with Super Flower according to Aris.

Besides a 2kW PSU, EVGA showed the successor of the G3 line, the Super G7 line that's just 125mm deep. It also revealed an upgraded version of the SC15 laptop.

They still use SF for the G2 and G3 series as well. The only units still in production are the 1000 and 1300 in the G2 if memory serves (could be a few more). G3 units, I forget. Like I said earlier, they are an equal opportunity company. They will use anyone, anytime, if they can make the unit to their specs and meet their quality standards.

EVGA has got to get their naming scheme under control. A G7 plat rated unit now? Thats just stupid.

They think very highly of the G7. After checking out the pricing these are pretty reasonable. Only $130 for the 850w unit.

The 850W G7 is $110 now. That review is positive, though the fan noise will be a deal breaker for many. It seems quite noisy.
