EVGA Precision Or Afterburner.

Finally got my system up and running and wondering which to use?

The GPU is the EVGA 980 Ti. I used to use Afterburner on my older cards.

Just curious if one is better than the other these days?

I think it's all personal preference. They both work on multiple brands.

My personal preference is MSI Afterburner, but only because they didn't try to screw over the creator of RivaTuner, like EVGA did a couple years ago. Otherwise, they operate very similarly.

Yes, personal preference indeed

MSI afterburner is my pick but they all do the same thing....yet I feel AB is more advanced.

But yea... afterburner actually is a defacto component for gaming systems.

MSI Afterburner with the "Default v3" skin that's included.

Precision is nice and has both Kboost and an easier frame rate target-setting. But the UI is a complete mess.

I've always gone with the red cyborg skin and stuck with it. I'll take a look at the default v3. Thanks for the plug!
