EVGA today unveiled a trio of custom-design GeForce GTX 1080 Ti graphics cards, besides the reference-design "Founders Edition" SKU already in its product stack. These include the range-topping GTX 1080 Ti FTW3 (model: 11G-P4-6696), the GTX 1080 Ti SC3 (model: 11G-P4-6593), and the GTX 1080 Ti SC Black Edition (model: 11G-P4-6393). Of these, the FTW3 and SC3 offer a full-featured iCX Technology cooling solution, complete with 9 thermal sensors, and RGB LED lighting preparation. The two feature EVGA's triple-fan version of the iCX cooler.

The FTW3 features the highest factory-overclock, followed by the SC3. The SC Black Edition features a simpler dual-fan version of EVGA's iCX cooler, which has some of the heatsink-specific iCX innovations, but not the 9 onboard thermal sensors. This card could be priced closest to the $699 baseline, at which the company will sell the "Founders Edition" reference-design card. The company didn't reveal the all-important clock speeds, or pricing information.

Now that is a decent looking cooler!

The Asus and Gigabyte (especially Gigabyte) ones at the moment look HIDEOUS!

These are some good looking cards, let's just hope the VRM's have adequate cooling this time around.

The shroud reminds me of those six pack rings. Nevertheless, it's a nice looking card.

I think that's why you won't see these until May time, lot's of internal testing going on to avoid such issues I guess.

This cooler is so "sexy" tbh. Much better than the "garbage" they have had in the 10xx series so far.

Very minimalist power delivery on the FTW3 though :p

I like it. It's nice to see a different design from the usual edgy and gamery design

Not sure, depends on EVGA's plans. Haven't heard from them.

actually that triple fan design is one of the most compact out there - other triple fan cards are like 11.5-12 inches long (with same size fans and roughly same size heatsink) - and that is a no go for many compact cases, but this is 10.5'' - remember size DOES matter.

These are possibly the best looking cards EVGA has made so far

This EVGA FTW3 is my next card unless Vega performs similar in performance and is quieter.

The SC ICX and SC Black Edition look the same with the cooler installed: http://www.evga.com/products/produc...=GeForce+10+Series+Family&chipset=GTX+1080+Ti

The only difference is the SC ICX also has the ICX changes to the PCB- thermistors, asynchronous fan headers etc whereas the SC Black Edition just has the same cooler but the PCB is a reference PCB.
