expert help for Dell laptop

i have a 2 year old Dell inspiron 600m Intel Pentium M 1400 Mhz 587 Mhz, 768 MB of RAM. i what to upgrade it if i can to make it a little faster. i want to maybe go with a 1.6GHZ 2MB CPU Processor and DDR333 PC2700 RAM of Memory is this a good chose.

The processor is not that bad.. I'm not even sure you can upgrade CPU on that one, and I don't know if it's worth it.. But you want more RAM. Buy the same memory you already have.

Having 768 already, you can make the jump to 1GB but it may not help much if at all- and sorry, that CPU has little to no upgrade path.


That about tops the laptop off.. really..
