Chrome because I have a Gmail account, for all other purposes that require a quick browser because IE broke something, I just download iceweasel(ultra lightweight firefox)

Firefox on desktop, Chrome on laptop, Explorer at work. I find all equally adept at their duties. Bonus points for Chrome and Firefox because adblocker (and variants).

IE11 has adblock easy list too.

Altohugh my no1 is still FF, the only thing that kinda sucks is it doesnt have full 1080p 60fps support @html5 (max 720p), IE11 plays that fine np.

My browser history goes Mosaic > Netscape > Ie > Firefox > Opera > Chrome

IE was brief because of security issues. Firefox was customized how I wanted but often had extension problems or crashes. Opera was good at first then sluggish and lacked compatibility. Chrome has it's quirks, but has given me the best overall experience.

If you care about security then IE11 believe it or not is your best bet. Chrome is a very close second. Firefox in this day and age blows. As for quickness I would give Chrome a slight edge over IE11 but with a fast enough connection you will not notice.
Honestly its just about personal preference between IE11 and Chrome. I use IE11 because I like to keep my system barebones when it comes to the OS. It allows be to troubleshoot things quicker. That and I'm a security nut. However I use Chrome a lot on my work computer because some of the sites I have to log into require it. That and I feel it renders slightly better. Really you cannot lose between the two.

However people swearing by Firefox nowadays have not been keeping up with security trends. STAY AWAY from Firefox. Adblocker isn't going to stop the flaws that thing has at its core.

I understand and appreciate your trolling. However you don't have the slightest idea WTF you are talking about. Attacking a member with off topic debate should be saved for the forth or fifth post. You have to get them engaged and enraged before you babble nonsense. You have to start off with cold facts that directly contradict their statement. Just figured I would give you some pointers.

Was a fan of FF, since firefox for a long time, It was hands down best for me. Now it's crashing a lot, youtube, flash player etc. Memory usage is huge. So IE11 and I actually don't have problems with IE11 couldn't stand the older ones. Chrome, is ok if you spend some time configuring it, but atm Win 8.1 + IE11 works fine. On my galaxy SIII I use Firefox most of the time, both mobile and desktop versions looks good. but I use default S3 browser for some flash videos FF can't show them in some sites.

Not that IE is my main browser (Firefox is), but Adblock Plus is available for IE now. Alternatively you can use custom Tracking Protection lists to perform a similar function. Personally, I find IE very good, but Firefox is slightly better for my use (also it's a habit). In my own personal testing, Chrome used twice memory of Firefox with exactly the same tabs open (due to the way it manages processes). Some people have experienced many issues with Firefox, but I rarely ever do.

for my personal use it's chrome: integrated to my google account, everything synced between windows, linux, mac, and android. contacts, favorites, apps. honestly that's enough reason.

but I see all the browsers , often, because of my work(web development). chrome itself I find to be the most accurate representation of code (of the big 3). ff and ie though close tend to break some code that should work, so from a professional perspective they both frustrate me, whereas chrome tends to look exactly how you expect. maybe it's just more forgiving of my crappy code

IE was universally bad, and you can't really argue that. 10 made improvements and 11 is ok, but before that was horrible. and there are still a lot of people using pre-ie10. that's frustrating as a developer, and depressing as a human being . but seriously, once I made the switch FROM ie pre-10, I have no reason to go back unless they give me one, or I have no alternative. I don't even remember what FF did, I had used it for years but then it started glitching out. regardless I tried chrome, and have stuck with it since. it does eat memory but I like the look, the features I mentioned (and more). FF helps too with firebug, but I also use safari web inspector and chrome developer tools.

The statement that firefox blows, is obviously not from somebody that has tested security ad-ons. i use firefox 32.0 with no-script, ad-block plus with ad-block plus pop up protection better privacy to remove LSO's, Browser protect to ensure my hompage /settings are not changed. click and clean and referrer control. it runs 16/17 on browser scope http://www.browserscope.org/ with the only failure being origin header IE Cross site request forgeries which can be filtered out with No-Script. so i am virtually getting a 17/17 browser scope score on a gecko opensource engine that is not tracked like chrome or ie/microsoft. If your not using No-script than you have no idea what script is running thru your browser. To further enhance security i recommend Keyscrambler and Sandboxie. also Firefox's speed can be full throttled with a few about;config tweaks. the fact that it is 32-bit is not even noticeable for speed. if the 32-bit bothers you that much you can get water-fox 64 bit with the same ad-ons.. i clean pc's for a living and every single browser would be infected by the same browsing experience except for firefox with the right ad-ons/configurations it would not be touched. if you have not put the hours in doing browserscope tests you should probably not express your opinion so vividly. do the testing bro i will help you thru it if you like. been doing this for years. if you really want security run a honeypot on a rasberry pi. p.s don't just add firefox ad-ons without researching them as it defeats the purpose, just ask someone who knows how to make it virtually bullet proof. p.s if you decide to use sandboxie make sure it is checked off in Ccleaner. sanboxie contains all browser cache and Ccleaner scrubs it out more thoroughly than just a browser that is not sandboxed manually.

Its nice that you have to run all those plugins, that should be built into the browser to begin with...........

firefox was the shit now its just plain shit and I am sure eventually the same will happen with chrome and the cycle continues on and on
no-script is crap its always been crap and it won't ever be anything more then crap it isn't worth the time and trouble to deal with when ABP/ghostly are sufficient
I won't touch anything Mozilla without at least a 10 foot pole they have repeatedly demonstrated to be completely incompetent at pretty much everything
