Yeah, they really aren't doing that good... I hope other reviews on this will show somewhat of a different thing...
But, like AMD and Intel... We have a thing on Gaming and everything else..

so the atom is the most powerfull out of the 3 chipsets?

its a shame i know via are trying but it seems intel are too big to take on and amd well they are allways going to be a bit better

My only beef with the atom is that it is equipped with the 945GC, which is an outdated, power guzzling chip.

to me this is why intel are such idiots, this chip must be cost effective for them or summit

youd think theyd have a special chip just for the atom but no they dont do they

I don't know why Intel haven't used the 945GSE, which is the mobile version of the 945GC, but has a combined TDP with the atom of 11.8 watts. While the GC has a combined TDP of 29.5 watts. More than DOUBLE the heat, and double the power consumption. The 945GC is a recycled P4 chipset, while the 945GSE was designed just for the atom.

Yeah, but even so, the Atom platform consumes less than the Nano platform. VIA really needs to get to the 45nm process quick.
