its annoying having your task bar stretched across 3 monitors... anytime you maximize anything web page etc. it spans all 3 monitors instead of just 1 you have to manually adjust everything

That's why the hydra grid software is there, switch it on hold onto a specified key when dragging a window and lock it to part of the grid : ].

I liked eyefinity when I used it, and I only tried 2 monitors, even with crosshair being covered up is was still plenty fun.

Just hard, horribly hard

When I get a few more pennies under my belt going to go for a 3x20 setup.

Sure!

Just don't know when I'm going to have the pennies for it, I have to buy another eyefinity capable card first. One in specs died.

If I could get another set of chucked away office screens 3 x 1280 x 1024 would be a good set up as well I think.

16/9 16/10 in eyefinity is slightly to wide IMO. Only problem is offices don't often just dump all their crap : [

You all guys know that you need an Active DisplayPort Adapter for Eyefinity to work , right?

Eyefinity is great, takes a few solid hours to get used to it. As for the taskbar problem, just create a profile in CCC, one with eyefinity enabled and the other disabled. That way when you're not gaming you can still maximize stuff on an individual monitor.

I am not using Eyefinity, but I am running nVidia Surround with my GTX470s and it is downright awesome. Mechwarrior: Living Legends and Wings of Prey across three monitors are simply incredible. The immersion is beyond anything I've experienced so far.

If only Mass Effect 1&2 supported three monitors properly!

I tried it, first week I ended up returning the two monitors I purchased. It was a pain to get up and running.. It was a fairly jaw dropping experience though, I wouldn't mind trying it again with a better solution in the future.

Definitely, the only reason I don't have it now is because it has or had a few hiccups with my tri-fire setup. Although x3 monitors is as far as I'll go, more than 2 bezels in the way doesn't make much sense to me.

The next logical step is 5 or 9, but it takes up an insane amount of space and money...

I don't really mind the bezels.

You can make the bezels alot smaller by overlaping LED monitors because their really thin.
Or you could mod some monitors together by removing the stock bezel, place screens next to each other, and fabricate your own to block bleeding backlight.

This site makes them for you http://www.9xmedia.com/new/products/xtops.php
