Hello, guys! I'm here back.

I've bought a programmer, backuped the original bios and tried to flash some bios, but all returns me error.
The backup bios have a different format and size than others that I've downloaded on techpowerup vga bios collection.
Any suggestions?

Just for record here, I studied techpowerup vga bios collection, and selected this one from photos, cause they have the (some) same specs of original bios (fake gtx1050ti): Compatible memory chip (Elpida) and Initial bios reference (70.26...).
I still think it's a GTX560M chip card, but there no bios on techpowerup for this compatible with Elpida memory, so I got two options: Flash a GTS 450 Rev. 2 bios or edit the original bios with the really specs of this card.

I did several tests with a lot of BIOS. The furthest I got was a video with artifacts. I searched further and saw the CPU (750MHz) and memory (1500MHz) frequencies, but I couldn't find any BIOS with these values compatible with 1024MB of memory (Elpida). Can someone give me a hand?

I'm still thinking that the shortest way is edit the BIOS from this card (fake GTX1050ti), but I have no support on NiBitor or your variants.

I think you're better off throwing it away and getting a proper card. Others likely think the same and is why you've not had any more replies,

This really isn't worth your time and effort and will likely end in failure,

I get your sentiment, but with these fake cards, it's not always possible as they're effectively damaged by the scammers. Did it not work when you got it? Did it partially work?

So so. Using the drivers that came with board works until need more than 1024MB of video memory. Can I modify the bios for this limit?

Sorry, I can't help you with any of the technicalities of the card. If someone can come on here and help you out, then great, glad for you, but unfortunately, it doesn't look like it's gonna happen. Try posting a clear picture of the GPU without the thermal compound on it so that people can see the writing on it and you might just get a response.

It looks like it will need a custom BIOS to get it going properly (forget about trying this), or there might be a standard one in the TPU VGA BIOS database which will work with it, if the GPU markings can identify it properly.

The GPU database is here in case that helps you at all.

Good luck.

I am very grateful just to dedicate a little bit of your time to help me here. I found some BIOS compatible, but that gave artifact because of the frequency of the memory. The most practical option is to edit the original BIOS at least to limit the capacity of the video memory (1024MB).

I know it is not worth the time spent on a card that is not as powerful, I am doing it more for the sake of knowledge. That's why all help is welcome.

Thank you all. I hope this information can help someone else.

I will continue studying until I make it work the right way. If you have any process, I will share it here.

Sorry for my English. I am not fluent.

Modify the bios with lower memory clocks? Like I posted above, your card 700MHz (1400MHz DDR) chips.

Yes, but not changing the clocks, changing the memory size. The system recognizes 4GB, but when it exceeds 1GB it crashes.

Ah, didn't read that part. Yea, you need a bios with 1GB and 1400MHz (or a little lower if it still has problems) memory settings.

A BIOS with a GTX560M CPU, 1GB and 1400MHz with Elpida compatible. Correct?
Ah, damn! I've tried to help one user on an another thread with a fake card, I confused that thread to this. But wait, I'll try to search the speed of those chips, but the 1GB is the right amount of your card.

Sorry!

edit: Hey, check this thread! It has the same memory chips.

when will the fake video card sellers use a RTX3080 instead of a GTX450 for scamming people :kookoo:
that way it will be easier to find the right bios:wtf:

Yeah, you're doing it from an enthusiast perspective, I get that and nothing wrong with it. I hope you eventually succeed. :)

Your best bet is to use a Bios editor and change the value for Ram from 4GB to 1GB.
I'm not sure if NiBiTor can do that but it's worth a look:

Same problem, same board. The difference is the CPU. If I can change my board BIOS and it work, I can solve or at least help him.

Kkk, yeah, that's right. Thank you for the encouragement. Thank all you guys :)

I've been trying this, but still learning to use this soft. I'll test the BIOS files and share the results.
