Fall Creators Update made a strange new volume appear

For some reason, Windows Fall Creators update caused a new volume to appear, but only shows in Windows defrag/optimize utility - I can't find it anywhere else. It's called \\?\Volume{15014195-6a1d-4599-b032-bba49f32a765}\ - when I click on it, the analyze and optimize buttons fade out. Obviously some kind of glitch, but annoying just the same. Anyone else seeing a new volume after the update?

EFI System volume. A fat partition necessary for boot on UEFI.

It's always been there, just not had an entry before.

Thanks, it just never showed in defrag utility before, so I wondered WTF? It'll probably disappear next major update...

I can confirm that the same volume was visible to me on the older update. And it's still visible now.

You can mount the partition with command line if you want to see what's in it.

Windows is supposed to/usually hides it. It may have gotten orphaned somehow.
