Fan Control loses settings after Suspend-to-RAM

I'm using ATITool 0.24 along with the latest Catalyst drivers (5.6)
on my Radeon X800 XL and I've got the following problem:

If my system returns from Suspend-to-RAM, ATITool resets the fan speeds to:

above 0°C 43%
above 70°C 54%
above 75°C 67%
above 80°C 80%
above 85°C 96%
above 90°C 100%
above 95°C 100%
above 100°C 100%

I wonder where these settings come from  . Are these settings the default settings?
If I click "Reset", ATITool resets the temps and percentages to values,
that differ from the ones above...

And it seems that other ATITool settings are not affected, but I'm not sure about
this as I don't make use of the overclocking capabilities of ATITool.

Anybody got the same problem?
Is there any solution for this problem?

Thanks for any suggestions,

Lizzzard

i assume these are the card's defaults .. when the system comes back from standby is reinitializes the card .. but atitool should restore its own fan control values .. maybe there is a timing issue.. i'll see if i can find out more about this.
