fan wire connecting with solder

i'm planning to connect all the fans on my radiator together on the same molex and sleeve them. how exactly do i wire them? just connect all the reds, then connect the blacks? or do i run them in series?

Yes, all reds and then all blacks. If you connect them in series, you won't be able to run them @ full speed.

Yeps. Fans usually take less than 1A. More likely around .25A Considering most rails have between 15-25A of power availiable, it'd take a whole lotta fans to drain it.

Think about how many fans you'd have daisy-chained off a single molex, it's the same deal, just less connectors to get in the way.

cool, i'm gonna be using 3 yate loon D12SH-12 in push mode on a pa 120.3. i just want to clean up some of the snakes nest that occurred with alot of fans. got the rad in today but it came with stupid translucent plastic fittings. so i'm gonna order some chrome fittings before i mount it.

i'm moving my main pc out of the cramped antec 900 case into a rocketfish. should have plenty of room then, even with the rad mounted in the roof. hopefully i can do a decent job on the modding. if it comes out half as cool as i see it in my minds eye, it will rock

I hope you mean series dude... cause with parallel, the voltage is the same (12) for all fans, and the amperage is different, on the other hand in SERIES, the voltage is less for each.
