Far Cry 2 WTF

I installed game and played very little, I was finishing Crysis. Finished Crysis and went back to Far Cry and a patch came up to download so I downloaded it. Now when I press to play it comes up on screen and than just disappears. WTF I can play in safe mode only. any thoughts

if your running vista try right clicking and run as administrator

or maybe re-install game worse case?

Had to reinstall to get it to work again. What Bullshit. Hopefully not as bad as people saying.

I agree single player isnt great, in fact it sucks. But multiplayer is a blast.

I bought it for its single player and after a while it got very irritating but graphics are nice haha, i havent even finished it fallout 3 got more attention

Yes we all belong to group of people belonging called PC enthusiasts aka gamers. We are great of criticsizing PC games and we wonder why lot of games are not made for PC. Designers have to invest double the time because of ours great PC systems and because very little games are worthy of our time. So don`t complaint when games are not coming to PC. By the way I`m no different. I miss the time when I was playing games and not obsessing about graphic and I was able to get in the game. When was last time when you really get in the game ?

I never complain not enough games come to pc.. I like how we get less games. Less money and time to spend Plus I would rather have 3 amazing games than 50 crappy games.

Never winter nights 1 play it on my rig really nice story and DX8 graphics arent that bad the rest was pretty graphics but imo late games suck on story line i could come up with some of them in 20min

What you said is so true. But when you are pressured so much about graphics it is less time fore story and character development.

Bullshit dude they destroyed this game. I liked Far Cry. This one just to much bull. Kind of cool burning things but I dont think I will finish this.
But you'll have that. ShadowFold got it right 3 good games instead of 50 crappy ones.

I'm glad I started waiting a month or two before purchasing games. This is yet another game scratched off my list of things to purchase. Fable 2 ended up being the exact same with story. I refuse to pay $60-$80 for a mediocre game that slaughters all aspects of the game story wise.
