My Logitech G5, that ive had for about 4 years just died :cry:

im using a backup microsoft optical for now.. I was looking at getting another G5, the new revision thats blue and has two buttons on the side. Or I could get a Microsoft HABU. I'm kinda leaning towards the HABU since I like to try to new things! My budget for one is around 50$. Nothing over 50$ tho. Any suggestions would be great!

Uhh I dont do open box.. Looks ok but is it big? I know the habu is pretty good sized. I have pretty huge hands.

Stinger will give you G5 but some additions. better texture grip, 2 more buttons, 3200 dpi sensor.

Dang, I've been using my G5 for the last 3 yrs...I hope it doesn't die soon. I hate breaking in new mice. My brother has a Stinger. Its the size of the palm of my hand - & I have fairly large hands.

G5 rev 2 has an extra button and anti-slip texture that people are annoyed with.

Stinger is a little larger than G5 watch the video.

mmm my mx310 ended up being "outclicked" and wont left click anymore so I just bought a G7... and havent looked back...

Aside from buying a Mighty mouse and never using anything else now

But yeah i would just buy another one.. logitech stuff is the bomb.

I love my Razor Copperhead. It isn't broken so I'm not about to replace it, but the Cyber Snipa Stinger will be it's replacement whenever the day comes. Look up reviews for it!

I'm gonna go to best buy tonight or tomorrow and pick one.. For now my friend let me have his old G5 cause I told him to get one after I got mine and his still works.. I still want to try another mouse! I really like the Razer DeathAdder and my Razer Piranha's and Barracuda work very well.

Do NOT buy anything other than logitech! You'll just be disappointed. Them MS mice are all horrid!

If anyone is thinking about buying a logitech product but isnt sure its worth the cash, buy it!!! In the last year I've got the g25 wheel and mx5500 desktop set. Both are MINTED! Got a mx518 (and 510 before that) that I've been using for years and is still on the side for gaming, I was suspicious of the 510 before getting one but I'll NEVER go back! I might pick up a new g5 as they look sick. I :love:

Buy the G5. I love mine and you will not be disappointed. If you loved your old one, the new one will only satisfy you more. And from my experience, anything more than 2000 dpi is overkill.

Razor deathadder 4sure, it has a nice size, feel and weight to it. but if you have sweaty palms while playing, the rubber can wear off..

Ive had mine for over a year and its has not done this yet but Newtechie had one and the rubber started to wear after like 3 months.

edit: oneway to know for sure is to try a few out at your local retail store.. I personally had a mx5500 and loved it I tried to get a feel for a g7 in the store and did not like it as much as my Deathadder... The Deathadder is botha finger and palm mouse.. I love it.

I have a MX Revolution and a G9.

The G9 is not as comfortable for casual tasks but for gaming it owns my MX Rev.

If you can try a G9 in person you should, even if you don't think you will like it, try it.
