This is good though. It suggest that Oculus really does have something new to ship. I’ve been hearing preorders may become available in a day or so and that availability will be early November. We’ll know more for sure soon though.

Yeah meta sucks.. lol I think the biggest thing for me is Grand Theft Auto : San Andreas and the new headset (Project Cambria). I'm disappointed that we didn't get a price or date, just that it's coming next year. We still have Carmack's talk to watch. It should be soon.

Well I just ordered an Oculus Quest 2 so unless Carmack introduces a new VR HMD that will ship sooner then a year I'll keep it.

No, I think you are safe. They don't have anything ready or they would show someone using it. The pancake lenses are interesting. I can't wait to hear more.
