I just installed FEAR 2. How can I get the game to fill my entire screen and get rid of the black stripe at the top and bottom of the screen?:mad:

I loved the original fear and I loved Fear 2 just as much.

Welcome to the modern world of PC gaming whereby most modern PC games (especially shooters) are console ports. Being lumped with 16/9 aspect ratios (hence black stripes at top n bottom of screen when running on typical 16/10 PC monitor) are just one of the lesser evils of this trend.

I quite enjoyed FEAR 2 although it stands in pale comparison to the original. I would even go as far as saying that FEAR 1 is technically more impressive than its sequel.
