"On April 6, 2018 Microsoft released the source code for the File Manager which compiles and runs on Windows 10, licensed under the MIT License."

Does it go 'dual pane" so you can drag and drop ... Powerdesk fills the need at pesnt (Win 7) but I am disappointed they dropped the Toobar (later called Coolbar)

I am sure you can just open two instances of it, then drag and drop.
