Finally!!! I got The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion!!!

After a long time of deciding between an FPS, Guild Wars Factions and Nightfall, and Dark Messiah, I finally chose TES IV: Oblivion. Got it las night, but only installed, but now I'm just about to play it, and hopefully it'll run (well). Was this the right choice? Maybe my video card can't handle it?

I think you got the right game. I got bored with it after I completed the Thieves, Mages, Arena, and Dark Brotherhood quests. Haven't really done much with the main quest though.

you can complete oblivion in no time if u do the main quest only (im talking like 4hrs here)

it will get boring in the middle of the game...give it 2 weeks and you wont like it any more.

to make the game short, open console and type "movetoqt"

this will teleport you to quest target...

Don't tell me that now...I want to enjoy it. Dropping $50 wasn't easy, and i want to have the most fun I can with this game. I haven't played RPGs in the longest time (Single Player RPGs, not MMORPG).

I haven't been playing much since I've been having skrims in Halo 2, but so far, I'm in the dungeon in the very beginning. yeah...I know...but I just started. It's pretty fun, and my X800XL seems to be able to handle it. Hopefully it still will once I get outside.

You should have just downloaded the oblivion through bittorrent.... I would rather spend my money on games where-by you can play online+single player which is worth the while. And its forever. Like Neverwinter nights or guildwars (though i never bought them ever =X)

I have morrowind and all the expansions to go along with it/Just haven't played it yet/ Its not very graphical and lots and lots and lots of reading with no voice overs.
