Newegg is selling Vega 64 Red Devil's for $499.99- got my Red Devil Vega 64 for $499.99 (which is MSRP), but it also came with a $150 game bundle that comes with Assassin's Creed Odyssey. I have already sold my EVGA GTX 1070 too so in total I paid under $200 for a Powercooler Red Devil Vega 64 that included a $150 game bundle. I am stoked!

The plan will be to use this card until there is something better from AMD which is probably Navi and then next month I will have my FreeSync monitor yay!

I am pretty partial to userbenchmark because it is such an easy benchmark. I have my benchmarks already from my GTX 1070- when I get my new card I will post both results :)

Excellent buy, I would've got one if It wasn't for it being poorly priced during that cryto rise crap.

I don't, but I do have Vermintide which is very GPU heavy- at least it has Warhammer in the title :D

I've been wanting to upgrade from my 390 lately but, I'm a little tired of waiting. I don't play much in terms of graphically demanding games but, I run most of it at 4k and it runs good for the most part. The 390 makes a ton of heat, is loud, and there is practically no room between the GPU and my hard drives so, something smaller could be nice.

If the Vega 56 Nano went on sale, I might consider that.

Sign up for price alerts on Newegg and have the price alert for the Vega 56 be $399.99. Nearly every week for the last 4 weeks, there has been a Vega 64 and Vega 56 sale on Newegg and every sale has brought the cards down to MSRP.

Do you, by any chance have Total War Warhammer 1 or 2 to benchmark ? Thanks.

I have Vega 64 and at 1440P in Warhammer 1 FPS in the battle benchmark are 79 FPS Average. Playing Warhammer 2 gives me 72 FPS in the battle benchmark. My CPU is the R5 2600. In crossfire I get 120 FPS in 1 and 114 FPS in 2 for the same benchmarks.

The games are free- what is the scheme? I play Assassin's Creed (typically on console though), but who cares in the end because I got $150 worth of games for free.[/QUOTE]

I can confirm that the new Assassins creed game plays extra smooth in 4K with Vega. Also the deal is great because getting ACO alone is $79.99, Strange Brigade is 39.99 and Star Control Origins is $34.99. All of those games are fun to play and ACO is absolutely huge. I never liked the previous AC games but this one plays like an Action/RPG in 3rd person.

399$ would be fair price and 349$ for 56 atm, but i guess hbm2 spoiled that too.

500$ is too steep unless your upgrading from a slower card, a 1080 ti could be had for that at a similar price point.

For a used GTX 1080ti, you cannot find a new GTX 1080ti for under $600 and I have seen them go for as much as the mid $700s and buying a used card is always a gamble.

I agree that the price is high but just a month a ago the same card was $700 so $499 plus the game bundle is really good

399$ would be fair price and 349$ for 56 atm, but i guess hbm2 spoiled that too.

So a Vega 56 should be the same price as the RX 580 8GB? Even though it performs at or just above the 1070?

Especially when TW 3 Kingdoms comes out and you see the AMD banner on the splash screen

Really? I paid £765 new for my 1080 ti ftw3 during the absolute peak of the cryto rise, it was literally the only card left that hadn't hit 1k. I can find 1080 ti's going for around £450-550 easily and not founders either, the vega 64 will do you well regardless though it's a good purchase.

If you like the card... good for you. But don't be so ecstatic about the "deal" you've made...
You paid $500 - [what you got from 1070] for an upgrade which gives you what... 10-20% increase depending on resolution? Why not get a faster Nvidia or wait for Navi?
Also, Red Devil isn't exactly the best variant out there (e.g. noise-wise).

I'm always shocked by how well game bundling scheme works, though.
Do you even like these games? Would you buy them otherwise? :p
What an #hole do you have a interest in one guy's buy now, back to shill corner susan.
His Gpu is better than yours :p

I have RX 580 and i bought it for 200$, they are overpriced still 250$ should be price for RX 580 and used ones you can find for 150-175$ so your logic is flawed.

Yes on a sale most likely. I got a Rx 570 for $249.99 just the other day but that was on sale. I am talking about regular prices on Amazon or Newegg in Canada. Right now Amazon has the Gigabyte Vega 64 Gaming for $680.00 which is about $527.00 US.

@Mighty-Lu-Bu: Forget the crap. Gratz on purchasing for a decent price. Nice to see them coming back down to earth post-crypto craze.
I've been looking for a reason to build a new PC to replace the very much aging machine in my specs, and the Vega 64 has been in my wishlist for ages.
