I am planning a dual socket build. It's in a planning stage right now and don't have any parts at all to start with other than a single E5-2683v3 CPU.
This build isn't going to be done over a night. Actually, this is a part of my 3-month plan.
Since I don't want to go E-ATX, this Supermicro ATX mobo is probably the most ideal. Another good thumb up for this mobo is that it uses regular 2011-3 socket, not the narrow one, which opens for a lot more heatsink options.
The issue is though that this mobo mounting holes do not strictly follow ATX standard, meaning I need to pick its case wisely.
I know some ATX cases come with unremoveable mobo mounting standoff. Those must be avoided.
I've been searching a case for it because I felt that'd be the first step.

Before you recommend a case for me, please remember this.
1. The case must have removeable mounting standoffs.
2. While I am not going RGB craze on this, I want a window.
3. I prefer to avoid top vents if possible but I do not mind in this case since it will be 240w TDP of CPU dumping heat into the case.
4. I prefer to have a door on front for a clean and elegant look.
5. I don't want a huge case. The smaller, the better. Having said that, I did consider the RIOTORO case but saw its mounting standoffs unremoveable without tools.
