on the card? u can tell wat memories it uses by looking at the memories on the card it self, i belive its samsung 5ns chips on those sapphire cards.. or if u want to know wat speeds they operate at just install atitool and have a look :)

ok, but bear in mind that im runing win98, so is there any way of finding out the speed a different way (ie, a way not requiring ATI Tool/Win XP)? but anyway, thanks for that. :D

Do you not even know who makes the card?
Have you overclocked it or do you want to know the frequencies it comes at?
If you want to know default frequencies see what frequencies some of the bioses in the bios database on this site come at.

Yay 50th post 3rd star for me :D

Sapphire is what i wanted to know. Sapphire 9550s come at 250Mhz core and 200Mhz memory according to the bioses in the database.

take the card out of the system and look at it! you can tell what the memory JUST BY looking at the memory. There's a product code on the memory.

He wants to know what frequency it runs at rather than what type of memory it is.
It is almost certainly samsung 5.0ns if you do want to know.
