In most cases it's not critical, but in your case it may be actually better.
Just for fun, can you run crystaldiskmark or any other SSD benchmark and post a screenshot here. I'm interested in write speeds.

Yes. The FireCuda 510 was launched with E12 + BiCS3, probably this sample uses E12S (same configuration but different process node, size and it uses a nichel heatsink) + BiCS4.

Do you mean controller’s channels and speed? If so, it doesn’t have only two channels.

VLO don't recognize the E12S, it will show as E12. I'm pretty sure your SSD uses the E12S.

They are both quad-core (2 ARM Cortex-R5 and 2 CoXProcessor) and eight-channel, but the E12S is fabricated on 12nm process node (E12 on 28), has a smaller size and a nichel heatsink (which, obviously, lead to better temperature).

Probably yes, like all E12-based drives (Sabrent Rocket, P34A80, CS3030, MP510, etc.).
