FYI, don't bother trying to buy one of these cards before the 9th. Some etailers have them in stock, but I was just informed that there is an embargo on the cards until the 9th. I got my refund.

I suspected that, because no AIB has launched any 7970 so you'd have to purchase an AMD branded HD 7970 and that would have been an ES.
How much did you pay for it? If you don't mind saying it, of course

No, both Sapphire and Asus has their cards shipped out to retail.. the retailers just can't sell them yet due to the embargo. Price came to $560 shipped with a cupon I had. Now, I wait until the 9th.
