Well of course I am not talking about the cell phone version, it is the VR version I am talking about.
The most recent release of Fruit Ninjia VR has updated the graphics. At the same time it makes me noticed lagging and low FPS distortion inside VR. The direct result was terrible nausea. Then after reading around I found out I was not the only one. Even people with 1080 have reported performance loss once the highest graphic details have been selected.
Fruit ninjia is not the only one. Serious Sam VR somehow only is able to run smoothly on medium graphic settings. Anything higher it will start to make you dizzy and want to puke.
I do hope developers and VR engine can transit to DX12 or Vulkan as soon as possible. As the transition should probably give better performance. I am also happy that the demands of both VR and AR will push nVIDIA and AMD to give us even more powerful GPUs.
