I'd change the board to a Gigabyte UD4 or UD5. I'd also consider getting a TRUE instead of the Cooler Master V8. These chips run very hot!

It appears you've done your research. I suggest a differnt case, perhaps the Coolermaster $100-150 range:

Also I say get a different board. That P6T is ok but for $280 I'd consider others, like the Gigabyte or Evga x58. If you like Asus then go with the Gene II. It's bad ass, and will run two vga's well.

You could upgrade the cpu cooler to the True to ensure a few extra degrees when overclocking. Maybe a Megahalem or perhaps water cooling?

For 33 bucks you can keep your CPU cooler, and because of that chips design, it's really easy to Overclock to the 940/965 speeds with the added benefit of an Aftermarket cooler. I will say that there a bit of a pain in the arse to install though. Compared to the simplicity of the Stock Intel i7 cooler.

As far as the case goes. I'd have to really recommend the HAF 932. I am a complete newby when it comes to cable management and my i7 rig was the first one I put together from start to finish without anyone else to help me(that is in person). And the case makes it really easy to manage everything. Also, it's freaking silent. If I don't have the GPU fans turned on, I can't hear it at all, not even over the AC in my apartment.

I see they discounted it, and have free shipping right now too :p.

For warning, here n-ster is recommending great hardware, I use a Mungen 2, HAF 932, and that Crucial ram. The UD4P motherboard won't post video if the ram is in the blue slots on the motherboard. Outside of that, I have seen the ram go up to 1600+ levels so far without a hitch.
