I use these Yate Loon D14BH-12
https://www.ebay.com/itm/Yate-Loon-...h=item41f1923d25:g:dSMAAOSwTA9X13N~:rk:5:pf:0

Best fan I have found for 140mm. You have to cut the plug off and use a 4 pin regular plug, not a big deal if you can solder though. 2 years now running it impeller facing up, still runs smooth and pulls enormous air pressure. Chinese shipping can take awhile though.

140 CFM 2800 RPM dual ball with PWM control

Other option is Thermalright TY143 SQ. I really think the Yate is a better fan having owned several of both.

It pressurizes my little A05 case so easily it can overpower the SP120L I have on exhaust duty. It can also run silent, it can run down to really low RPM with no issues.

In the image below the front I/O of my case is shown. Some wires are not completely connected,m. They seem quite delicate. What should i do?

My case has the option to install 3 extra fans on top, however, the top is closed
That's generally for radiator support. Do you have a radiator in there? Do you really need more case cooling? Since the top is not vented, if you need more air flow, I would look at your front or back panel cooling options and see if you can add a fan there.

I don't see any wires that are not completely connected. I do see the two white connectors that don't seem to be fully seated - but cannot really tell if those connectors are soldered in, or plugged in. If plugged in, I would gently push on them and see if I could get them fully seated.

If soldered, then just leave them. They probably are much less delicate than they appear. And if everything works, that's even more reason to leave them alone. If not broken, don't fix it.

Who is the manufacturer of your case? If you have system specs, I'm not able to see them ,as I'm on mobile

be quiet!

if they are not working properly, i would highly suggest you contact them, and request a replacement Front I/O. I have done it severaltimes with Phanteks, as the header PCB they used on my Enthoo Pro M was dog Sh@t.

but confirm that they dont just "not look right" , be sure they actually dont function first

What do you mean by cutting the plug off?
It has a power supply mini style plug, its meant for a cooling fan power supply or for a server. I just bought a bunch of 4 pin male-female fan extension wires and I cut the female end off and solder the leads to the fan's leads.

Benchmark Scores Faster than yours... I'd bet on it. :)
I dont see anything wrong here. Build that thing already. :)

You have six threads about your build and you haven't started it..? I was right in expecting a shed load more questions. :p

(All of this may have been best in ONE build thread instead of six threads)

You dont say any thing about what you want from the fans beside high static pressure. Hear i am thinking about does they need to be silent, do you want LED/RGB light, what colour do you whant in and such things.

But If high static pressure is what its all about and if price is not a problem. Noctua NF-A14 industrialPPC fans gets my highest recommendation. They exist in 2000 and 3000 RPM variants. I have 3 of the 120 MM variants called NF-F12 industrialPPC 3000 RPM version. They are off cause not silent at full blast, but they do move a ton of air. And the fans I have really impress me by how wide a RPM range they have. My fans can go from about 280 RPM and up to 2960 RPM PWM controlled. How low RPM they can go also depends on how low your motherboard/fan controller allows as minimum PWM % signal.

https://noctua.at/en/nf-a14-industrialppc-2000-pwm

https://noctua.at/en/nf-a14-industrialppc-3000-pwm

Else as a bit cheaper option cut be Corsair ML140 fans aren't so bad either (i use the ML120 or 120 MM variants as case fans, they do move a good amount of air, but not as much as the noctua fans does). They exist in different versions lige the cheaper premium fans and else there are PRO series and version with LED/RGB light and no light at all.

Looking at his case, I would say he shouldn't run a high static pressure fan for that area, I'd probably run a pair of BeQuiet 140 Silent Wings Noiseblocker PK1. There just isn't enough exhaust outlet to match a high performance fan.

edit: Noiseblocker PK-1, I have one of these as a top fan in another case and it is really nice.

I think we need more information instead of speculation and recommendations. We still don't know why more fans are being considered? Are they really needed? What fans are already in the case? Can they be replaced with better fans, or can another front or rear fan be added? What are your current temps?

Frankly, when looking at that case with its non-vented top, I see (with the information we have) no need to add top fans. And since I hate, I mean really hate fan noise, it seems to me high static fans in a closed space would produce a lot of annoying fan noise - at least for me since my case sits just above the floor.

Edit comment: fixed typo - changed "We still don't need..." to "We still don't know..."

Agree 100%. Only reason to do them is if you have a radiator there and you cut a hole in the top panel to give it a direct path to exhaust.
