The difference is at most 5°C, hardly garbage. In fact the last review I saw showed AS5 outperforming MX4 when AS5 is applied properly and allowed to cure.
The problem is that AS5 is an extremely thick paste, so it is very hard to get applied in a thin enough layer.
AS5 does the job. It is better than the stock TIM. He is using stock cooler so who cares what Tim he uses. I don't think the thread is a debate what Tim is better too.
