I'm in need of a new PSU if anyone has a good one that'll power a newer system. I'm on the SUPER cheap though :\ Plans are for it to be able to eventually power RD890 system, 6-core and dual 5770s. PM might work best though with how many posts there are lol

Cheapest deal possible on a netbook. Only thing that it must have is a HDD (vs an SSD) and 9" screen or bigger and wifi. (Battery and A/C adapter of course as well). Don't care about the OS or brand. Looking to get one as a gift for my girlfriend and she is not to picky.

Fit, I'm getting an SSD itch. I cant reach it can you help? :laugh:

On a serious note, what can I expect to get for say $350-450 used vs new in the SSD world? I'm thinking about replacing a laptop hdd to help cut down all additional ambient heat inside the casing. A larger drive, 128GB would work but I'm thinking 2x 64GB drives would be great too. Hell maybe 2x128GB drives if the deal was swingin.

Also, I'd like to buy in store and walk out. Shipping items to my house leads to questions. Questions lead to demanding answers. Answers lead to how much I paid for such an item, and thats where I'll be in trouble. So MicroCenter, BB, or maybe CL idk.

those intel x25-v's are decent in raid although i think the write speed is crap compared to other ssds. if you are comming from mechanical drives they'll feel a good bit faster on writes though.
